All Landlords or Hotel/Condos have a one month minimum rental damage deposit. This is refunded at the end of your stay or rental term, providing there is no damage, missing or damaged inventory item(s) or outstanding utility amounts owing. If the rental allows you to have a pet, you will be required to put down an additional pet damage deposit. This is typically 1/2 a months rent but can also be more or less, it is dependent on the owner.

In order to reserve or hold your rental you need to pay the deposit to the Landlord or the Hotel the one month damage deposit. Some Landlords may also ask for the last months rent too when they collect your damage deposit. The first month's rent is due upon the day you move in.

Please keep in mind peak season here in Cabo usually starts around October and runs until May/June. Rents can be higher during this time of year and inventories tend to be low and are harder to find.
